May 30th, 2012

After the operation there were many things I lost the ability to do.  In essence I started over,  teaching my brain all those things the tumour had changed.  At first I was frightened and frustrated.  I'm not a very patient person at the best of times.  This was probably the best lesson I could have learned.  The second was that we all need support from time to time.  I wouldn't be where I am today with my family, friends and Doctors. When I look back it seems strange to see me looking back from this picture.  Unable to drive or walk independently, my daughter took me to the store to buy a couple of things.  I remember shaking the whole time and needed a rest as soon as we got home.
